READ 1,000 BOOKS
BEFORE KINDERGARTEN!
Studies have shown that families who start reading aloud to their children at birth help to strengthen their language skills and build their vocabulary – two important tools for beginning to learn to read when they enter kindergarten. Register at the circulation desk, and pick up a reading log with stickers. There are incentives along the way! Recommended for all children younger than Kindergarten.
Bedtime Math - Summer of Numbers
Research shows Bedtime Math improves children’s math skills! Pick up a flyer and chart. Every time your child solves a math problem, they add another star to their chart. Recommended for children ages 4 to 11.
Story Hour
